Ogilvy & Social.Lab are searching for Global Strategist who will be responsible for strategic development of key international clients on the intersection of Social and Brand.

Global Digital Strategist

Your Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovative and highly effective strategies that enable media and creative thinking for our clients.
  • Interlink brand strategy with social strategy to set long-term foundations for global brands on social.
  • Consult on the best governance models and ways of working.
  • You will be our clients’ brand custodian and will ensure that content, paid media strategies, CRM, and community management are aligned and driving results.
  • Support Global Head of Strategy in key projects, trainings and workshops
  • Define and understand the core target audience, demographics, psychographics, behaviour and attitudinal mindsets across ATL, Digital and Social channels
  • Develop and apply insight to shape brand development and product platform ideation
  • Construct brand idea, architecture, positioning and value propositions, adapt to the specific universe of social media
  • Provide clear, compelling creative direction through succinct creative brief writing, including developing messaging hierarchy
  • Stay current and connected to popular culture in order to identify and predict relevant trends
  • Be able to collaborate with and lead cross-discipline teams within Ogilvy and WPP, i.e. Creative, PR, Digital, Media, eCommerce to develop an excellent integrated brand activity that drives brand growth for our Clients
  • In addition, a key role will be to provide thought leadership to the agency and clients and run workshops and knowledge-shares with clients and the agency.

Your Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing, Consumer Psychology, Marketing Communications is preferable
  • +3 years’ experience at Agency, Media
  • Excellent senior client management, strategic thinking and executive communication skills are required.
  • Extensive knowledge of communications planning, brand growth strategies, consumer insight development
  • Deep knowledge of social media
  • Experience in working with creative teams
  • Experience from global marketing or communications setting preferable
  • Perfect knowledge of English required, knowledge German language is an advantage

  • Be digitally savvy and up to date with social media developments
  • Be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
  • Be available for frequent travel to clients – across Europe and the world
